The listening room painting. The listening room was created in 1952 by rene magritte in surrealism style. Unlike other surrealist artists who mixed dreamlike images with abstract shapes magritte s works included normal images placed in surreal contextual situations. Not as background music not as something you shout to hear yourself over but as the main attraction.
